Zen

Howdy, Tombyong!!! More foodie trippy posts for you!! Kekekekeke! I ain't such a sweetie har!! Give you more ideas for par-tok. *wink*

Well, I just had Japanese with Auntie and Uncle Lollipop just the other day but tonight i had Japanese food again. Went to Zen for dinner, but this time was not with ABC and family, but with Bread Parpas and Marmas. Zen is more of a stylist Japanese restaurant serving higher quality of Japanese food at a premium price. An ideal restaurant for special occasions such as a romantic date or a meeting of business associates. It's a fusion restaurant, serving and preparing Japanese food in western and modern style. I have always found the food, ambience and service here very impeccable. The service staff are especially very well groomed, well mannered, providing very prompt service and taking special care to the needs and wants of the customers. This service standard is also maintained at their another earlier affiliated restaurant along Mohamed Sultan Road - En Japanese Dinning Bar. No guests would ever be neglected even during their busy dinner hours.

Dear Readers, you are indeed blessed that Moi managed to capture a good number of shoots for tonight's dinner. We had ...

Lotus Root with Mackerel in Egg Vinegar

Duck Carpaccio

Asparagus with cheese cream sauce

Yu-Tofu

Chicken wrapped in pandan leave

Hamachi (aka Yellowtail fish in English) with Teriyaki sauce

Beef Sirloin Steak Seared Rare in Ponzu Sauce

Kani Cha han (Crab wet fried rice)

Dessert - Macha Ice cream

Went over to Bread Parpas and Marmas' cosy adobe after dinner to make a call to Aniki and son. His wife and daughter are out of town, leaving the 2 boys at home. I was teasing Aniki having to take care of the little one and preparing for dinner. He was self-praising himself as usual. Kekekeke!

Me : How's the 2 boys coping? Eating Makudonarudo and konbini food?

Aniki : Naire... I am cooking for myself and little boy.

Me : Wow!! Unbelievable!! Such wonderful Papa!! =P

Aniki : Of course!! Always. *laughter*

It's hard to imagine Aniki cooking and taking care of the household chores since he has been so much "pampered" by Mrs Aniki who has been always doing most of the household chores daily. It was nice to chat with Aniki once in a while. The little ones might be coming over during summer vacation so i am really excited. Can't wait to see them!!! Kekekeke! Aniki and family live in a faraway place and though we dun meet often, I was really glad that we were able to keep close relationship.

And guess what I found in Bread Parpas and Marmas' place, this cute little minature Bread Parpas "smoking" away. It was so cute... it's actually an aroma emitting stand and once lit up, the aroma will be emitted in circle of smoke from the mouth of the wooden doll. It was really cute. Unfortunately, I was not able to capture the smoke that was actually coming out from the mouth.
