Lately I have been thinking about going back to water coloring.
My first inspiration is after my visit to the Iwasaki Chihiro Art Museum in Tokyo.
I got so inspired....
I dream of being a picture book illustrator like Chihiro...
and paint and paint...
and dream and dream...
While doing major spring cleaning for Moi's adobe, I found some stuffs....
Missed those days @ Lasalle... i really enjoyed every lesson painting away... Though I didn't paint fantastically well, being able to immerse in the process of focusing and concentrating on finishing a picture from drawing, planning to coloring. Water color painting needs a lot of planning, e.g. deciding which color to paint first, what to paint last and what texture to put in. It's an amazing art too cos you can leave it for a while and then pick up and paint again and experience different effects each time as the fresh colors spread on top of the older colors. I hope I can start to pick up my brushes again....
