Earthquake

EARTHQUAKE!!!!!!!! TREMORS!!!! EVACUATION!!

I was out for lunch when the tremors occurred and on the way back to office, I saw streams and streams of people on the road, everywhere, amazing!!!

Boss : Why so many people today?

Colleague : lunch time...?

Me : Maybe fire drill.

Colleague : Think it's a big Fire Drill. Maybe a few buildings.

Me : Ya lor. So many people!! Why choose lunch time? Jam the whole place.

Me : Wow!! Even got ambulance and Police standby leh.

Not knowing any heads or tails, we made our way into our building where mass of people were streaming out. Went in to press the lift. Alamak!! Not working. SO three of us went to climb the stairs. Office door locked?? WHY locked?? "Siao!! Who locked door?" Then we saw a lady who is working on the same office floor as us, carrying her barang barang, walking frantically and motioning to us "EVACUATE!!"

Three gong kias followed the lady and went down. Everyone was chatting alongside the corridor talking about the tremors just a few minutes ago and the earthquake at Sumatra. If this tremor is going to bring the whole building down, all the Ah-Gongs chatting along the road and the office building is going be as flat as roti prata. *DUMB* Common sense tells you must evacuate to open space hor.

Anywhere after we heard the news, we went back to the office almost immediately. Moi had experienced earthquake in Tokyo before. The real type of tremor that will bring a building down will be many times worse that this. SO NO ALARM.

Twinny texted me... she also felt slight tremors at her office building at AMK. Hmm...it does seems quite serious har. Called up Mom and she replied the same for home... WOW!! QUITE big "Scale". Hope the folks at Sumatra will be fine.

Will update this blog later with photos of the human masses earlier, tonight. *wink*
