From a "Missy", I changed to a "Mrs" just. Got this phone call at work from one of company trying to sell their services to us...

Him : May I speak to Mrs Twin 1?

Me : There is no such person. [Moi didn't think twice and didn't even think he was referring to me.]

Him : Sorry.

Put down Phone. IN half a second, the phone rang again.

Him : Hi. You sure there is no Mrs Twin 1 here? Is this ABC company?

Me : Yes, this is ABC but there is no Mrs Twin 1 here. [By this time, kind of guess, it might be Me.]

Him : Maybe a Miss Twin 1?

Me : Yes. There is and it's me. Sir, it makes a whole lot of difference between a Mrs and a Miss.

Him : Sorry sorry.

Hey!! Please check the other party's Credentials, Martial status, whatever first before you address them and if you are not sure, it's always nicer to call someone Miss instead of Mrs. I know Moi got a "matured" voice but doesn't mean I am married or some Ah Sor behind the phone!! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!
