Va Va Voom Cafe

Cockles just left her job. CHEERS!! Heehee! So to celebrate her new-found freedom, Tigger and myself cheoh her for vietnamese food at Va Va Voom Cafe. Tigger seems to be a frequenter there but it was Moi and Cockles's first visit. Va Va Voom Cafe supposedly serves authentic Vietnamese dishes that is a little more simpler tasting with less oil.

The menu was intensive with many variations to choose from and the ambience was great with bright orange and white color theme. I love the cozy atmosphere, the attentive service, the very local tasting food and the price. Heehee! THUMBS UP!! Definitely be back for more Vietnamese foodie.

Cockles wanted to try their lemon grass grilled pork noodle but it was sold out. But they still serve Lemon grass honey and other pork dishes so she was teasing the waiter that how was it possible that they had both the lemon grass and pork and not lemon grass grilled pork. Kekekeke!

Cockles and Tigger had a Lemon grass honey drink (cold) S$5.00 (photo on left) and Moi had dripped black coffee with condensed milk S$2.80 (photo on right). For dinner, we had their summer roll (paper roll) S$5.80 and silken tofu salad S$3.80 for appetizers and for mains, we had Pan fillet fish with fried noodle and authentic pork chop with fried noodle at S$6.50 each and braised claypot pork with rice S$7.00, Overall pricing is cheap and reasonable, like First Thai Coffeeshop at Purvis Street. It was not too crowded and Moi hopes it stays that way. Staff service was really great too. Food is not delightfully memorable but really NOT too bad with that price.

Like always, the dinner is not the main focus, the company always is... as we all move into different stages in life as Tigger prepares herself for motherhood while Cockles prepares her migration to new land. And of course much drilling from the girls for ME being the chosen one. Yup yup!! I also dunno why I was the Chosen one. Hahahahaha!
