So I finally managed to go to Cafe Iguana for drinks and din din during my 4th trial. Call it lack of affinity or pure coincidence. So I was super happy when i managed to get table FINALLY at Cafe Iguana. COOL!! Well, well, I just want to water myself with mexican teqila concoction, tacos and nachos.
Well, this is the first time for Moi to try Mexican food so I really can't compare if the food is good or not. Since I wont be able to tell what is an authentic Mexican taste. But I definitely love the drinks... *wink* To play safe, Moi ordered their house concoction - Iguanarita. The taste is smooth, a little sweet but refreshing. I love it.
For the food, Moi personally find the appetizers tastier than the main course. Nachos is really nice not saltish but I didn't really favour the sour cream which seems to be commonly use in Mexican food. The Calamari is a safer choice with mole verde.
Had the main course which is handmade corn tortillas, traditional shredded cabbage garnish, lime cream and pico de gallo and side dishes of beans and lime-scented cilantro rice. Yup...it has the sour cream again so it wasn't very pleasant for Moi. 
My din din kaki was more adventurous to try the mexican spicy sauce which he said was really spicy. =P
The crowd was quite Ra-Ra so it's not a quiet place for chit-chat or catch up. An outside sitting will be a better choice. I won't come back for dinner but I won't mind the drinks and the finger-food. Heehee!
