Went to ABC's adobe for Thanksgiving BBQ. It rained again!! Fortunately it was just a short light shower so we were able to get back to more BBQ shortly. *beam* Food was nice as usual and I had a good chat with ABC. Thanks ABC and DEF for the time and company. Hug.
But the highlight of the BBQ is the Killians (irish beer) that Sweet DEF passed me. Kekeke! Moi just loves beer. It's my first time to taste Killians. The taste was fantastically smooth, creamy and easy drinking, very much close to Guinness beer. I dun have much preference either for black or gold beer. But Moi tends to have more liking for bitter stronger tasting beer. As this was the first time for me to taste the Killians, I was such a suay ku in front of DEF and TinTin. =P Kekeke!
First suay ku was the sight of overflowing beer foam when i just opened the can.... DEF explained that this was due to the widget, a plastic moulded device that sits on the top of the contents of each can, releasing trapped nitrogen and beer into the beer to create the creamy foamy top layer found usually in stout beer.
Second suay ku was the little ball bearings found inside the can, I had mistaken that something had dropped inside the can when i was away and thus the whole bottle was contaminated and unsuitable for drinking. I was even able to have it throw away when TinTin explained that the ball bearings were commonly found in stout beer to release the carbon dioxide dissolved inside the beer. hahahahahaha!
Moi was really so super, super suay ku. Kekekeke!
But that was good lesson learnt and good beer knowledge. Heehee!
