The Pump Room

Had intended heading to Cafe Iguana but it was FULL again. SIGH!! It was my second time trying to reserve Cafe Iguana. =( So still the company is always more important than the venue so we headed to the Pump Room instead. The Pump Room is a brewery-bar cum bistro, somewhat like the Brewerkz alongside Cafe Iguana and Wine Garage, serving Australian style cuisine. So practically it's a place where one can drink, dine and party the DOWN-UNDER style. ^_-)

Let's say the company was simply tooooooooooooooooooooo wonderful that the food just seem too ordinary and less outstanding. Moi had their Pump Room Lager (more easy drinking) to Wheat Ale (stronger tasting)... well...I tend to like beer or alcohol that is more bitter and not too sweet tasting so I preferred the Wheat Ale thought I found it still a little bit too fresh and sweet. Beer from microbrewery compared to those pre-packed types, tend to give a cleaner, sweeter and much fresher tasting. It's also more easy drinking. The Pump Room (NZ beer) will be a good alternative other than Paulaner Bräuhaus (german beer) and Brewekz (American beer).

Well, I had all beers... my partners had Lime Juice, Earl Gray and Cosmopolitan. Cosmopolitan is a alcoholic cocktail mde of vodka, with cranberry juice and lime juice. It tasted really sweet and nice too... Buttercup took a sip..i wonder if she got any side-effects thereafter. =P Kekekeke!

The food portion was ok except for the side order of potato wedges which was too much. =P We felt like stuffing ourselves silly with potatoes and more potatoes.

The conversation should remain classified but let's say the 3 carefree fair ladies will be travelling end of the year to different parts of the world for some good fun and relaxation though not really together but definitely something that can be arrange easily when one is single, young and independent. *wink wink*
