Duck Rice

The other day, got a super last minute call for Lunch from SuSe who happened to be coming around my work area. But I got clients in town that day so lunch must be super timely and super restrictive - one hour no more. So I texted the Dude back that he can't be late. Minutes later, he replied if he could change the lunch to 2 hours later. SO you bet I was YELLING at him for not reading my sms carefully and the Dude still got the cheek to reply me that "your lunch flexi what." "Ya ya!! Flexi your head!!" So it's either he made it on time or cancel. SO PHEW!! He made it just in the nick of time. FORGIVEN! =P

Since this is Moi's area so I blanja him lunch and he blanja me coffee lor. We had lunch at One Philips Street famous duck rice coffeeshop at Grand Building opposite Yuen Hai Ching Temple. Unfortunately, we couldn't really had a good chat over lunch cause the crowd was just too crazy and we were under the extreme "pressure" to chop chop eat and give up our seats to other hungry patrons.

SuSe's Char siew + Duck Rice (chicken)

Moi's Roasted pork + Duck Rice (yam)

Moi particularly like their duck meat and roasted pork. Both meat are very tender and soft and the roasted pork skin is super crispy. Simply shiok. But what never fails to amaze me is the patience of the stall order takers. They can take all sort of complicated orders even if the customer would to make last mintue changes over and over again and yet never flare up or make any mistakes. It's really "professional". Hahahahaha! Their business is so good that you can't get them during weekends and at night cause by afternoon everything will be sold out.
