IRATE

Work, today, was utterly frustrating. Spent the whole day solving one issue and fire-fighting for it.

A procedure that has been done for the past 8 years and till early this year was changed SUDDENTLY. We were still following the same procedure submitting the same work stuff and out of the blue, i got a bomb-shell from the other party when my dateline is tomorrow that the procedure had since been changed and I got to re-submit the whole DAMN thing. It's not that I want to be difficult but if procedures had changed and I had submitted the whole DAMN WRONG set of documents to you a week ago, pending for approval which usually takes 3-4 days, you should at least made some "sound" about it and so kindly informed me that there is a new set of procedures in place at present and get me to re-submit so that I would not have to miss my dateline and do firefighting the whole day.

AND you are so DAMN right that I had thrashed the other party UPSIDE DOWN from the staff, to her supervisor, to her Manager.

IRATE is an understatement. I was so BOILED.

It boils down to work attitude and responsibilities. I am not asking much but don't sit on your job. GET to IT.
