Lau Pa Sat : Joo Chiat's Peng Lai Ge

A part of Lau Pa Sat got renovated recently... the part facing robinson road... AND one will be spolit with so many good food stalls sprouting at this part of the Lau Pa Sat from roasted meat and double-boiled soup by Marina Gu, CT local delight nasi lemak, Quilian Ban Mian, Macpherson Song Kee Fishaball, Lakeview Char Kway Teow, He Ji Fried hokkein mee, Steam boat, Genki bento, Shi Jin Long teochew porridge, satay bee hoon, Manna korea cuisine to Joo Chiat's Peng Lai Ge Taiwanese Delights, Yummy!! Yummy! Yummy!!

Kind of reminded Moi of Food Republic

Mee Sua + Chou Tofu from Peng Lai Ge

The gravy for the Mee Sua was quite thick and peppery so it was quite nice. Though Moi didn't like eating oyster and pig stomach so the whole dish became a little too blend and simple for Moi. Well the chou tofu was not really smelly... if you dun try hard to keep smelling it but it was quite disappointing as it wasn't soft enough inside and crispy enough outside. But the accompanying chilli did make up for the less appetising tofu.
