Daddy is away...so reunion dinner is only me, Mummy, little furry ball and Woof boy. A little quiet but still cosy... Initially we had only wanted to eat the leftovers from lunchie... But Mummy decided to dish up an additional soup, fishballs and prawns. Fingers licking Yummy!!
This fishballs are made by my uncle and so they are exceptional chewy and tasty. In fact, I dun really eat other fishballs except those made by Uncle. Kekeke! Yup yup... I am that Spolit. =P
In case you are wondering what is shepherd’s purse. It's known as 茼蒿 or 打老婆菜 in Chinese. How did this vegetable came to be known as 打老婆菜? A husband who bought a huge basket of Shepherd's purse, got angry when he saw his wife serving only a tiny plate of Shepherd's purse for dinner; and thought that his wife must had eaten up the vegetable before serving and beat her up. Well, the reason is because Shepherd's purse after cooked would "shrink". If that husband is to do that in Singapore at the present time, I believe he will land his butt in court pretty soon har.
After dinner, Moi and Mummy had nice Elcafe Coffee .... Ooooo...... heavenly...
