If you have heard of the famous Jalan Kayu Roti Prata, you would know Causarina Road Roti Prata which is also very much publicised in many newspaper and foodie magazine and articles. I love Prata though not as much as I adore ramen. So today Twinny and her dearie bought me to try the Causarina Road Roti Prata. Well...hmm...it tastes very much like the Jalan Kayu Prata. There is a little unknown little stall inside Lau pat sat and by far, I think they have the BEST prata i had!!
Of course, a tiny little Prata is not enough to fill up Moi's stomach. So I also had wanton mee at this Hongkong style coffeeshop beside the roti prata stall. First time for me to try wanton mee serves in duck sauce.. Yummy!! It's really different from the usual ketchup and black soya sauce type of wantan mee. So for those wanton mee lovers out there, do go and try it out. The wanton and the shrimp dumpling is also very much money worth with a good quantity and fresh amount of prawn and pork wrapped inside. Taste really good. I especially like the Char siew, I believe they have marinated themselves. It's soooooooooooooooo nice - sweet, tender with a bit of the black crispy on the top of the Char siew....oooooooooooooo....drooling. =P
After the food, twinny suggested to take a walk around to visit her doggie friends under the scorching sun which was damn "piercing". But the walk was worthwhile...cos we spotted him.... (^_-) Thanks Twinny for walk and lunchie.
