Mr Hongkong

Today got "ditched" by my colleagues so Moi be lunching alone. Could have call up nearby friends or pack back but then decided to just go for a quick bite outside and do the usual walking before returning to office. Anywhere, Moi needs to go grab pressies for SuperModel whose birthday is just around the corner.

And so Moi went to my all-time favourite Lor Mee Stall for my all-time favourite Lor Mee and met him. As I was still hesitating between my favourite Lor Mee or to have the seafood noodle 2 stalls away, he came behind me and said "Excuse me". I promptly stepped aside and then proceeded to stand behind him to join the Lor Mee queue. He sensed my presence and ...

He : Sorry. I dun mean to cut your queue.

Me : ???? [Actually he ain't. Moi was just standing around.]

Me : No. You didn't. No worries.

He : No, no, no!! Comeon, I dun mean to cut your queue. [Proceeded to move behind Moi.]

Me (to self) : He actually really didn't cut my queue but since he insisted.

Me : Thanks. * smile *

And so we started our conversation. He was from Hongkong and was here working 2 years back and loved the Wei Nan Wang Hock Kian Lor Mee very much and so now even though he was posted back to Hongkong, every time when he comes back to Singapore, he will come back for the Lor Mee. Interesting, right? He was quite chatty and friendly so we exchanged some small "idle" chat and since he was alone and I was alone we just sat and continue to slurp our Lor Mee until Moi got CHOKED by the red chill inside my Lor Mee that send me coughing until I went back office. So maluating. Wahahahahhahaahha! OH!! AND I forgot to ask what's his name was. kekeke! But it doesn't really matter also.

It's really amazing to think how many people just brush pass each other everyday and how often do we really know anyone or stop and say hi or take one more look at the other.

Hardly!! And Him definitely reminds me of the HE whom made my day the other day. So since I dunno his name, let me call him Mr Hongkong!! kekekeke!
