Went celebrating Bread Marmas birthday just last night at the top of the World. * wink * Food was wonderful but I would say there are LOTS of ROOMS for improvement on service. Actually we did not experience any "bad" service last night but then the waitress and waiter are really not very well-trained. They are definitely not attentive and they are more concern with themselves than the customers and their food. Well, for a general family restaurant where you pay $$ for meals, i believe such service will more than suffix. But for someone forking out $$$ per pax for dinner... i definitely think they need to work so much harder.
One thing for sure, it's was VERY DIFFICULT to get their attention especially the WAITRESS, they are so BUSY talking among themselves. Before making reservations, I did make a special request for dessert to be serve with a candle but the waiter came at the wrong timing when Bread Marmas went away and the even forgot to lit the candle. That's how attentive they were.
Well, the plus point for Equinox would be to enjoy the panoramic view of the Singapore city and river. The view was lovely... For windows seating, it's from 6:30pm - 9:00pm. We came at 6:30pm and left around 9pm. Bread Marmas enjoyed herself tremendously and I was really glad she enjoyed. Hugz...Happy Birthday Sweetie.
