Golden Shoe Market

Well, it might be a little bit hard to comprehend why we can still find so cheap and nice food in the midst of the "high-class" Shenton way.... but here's two and many more others... ^_-)

$2.50 Nasi Lemak

This nasi lemak stall has been around for ages... more than 10 years I supposed. I remember this is one of the very few stall that still opens late in the evening within the golden shoe market. After so many years of patronising them, i am surprised that they can still maintain their price though at the costs of their ingredients shrinking in size.. ^^;;) But the taste is still just as nice and I still enjoy my green color rice. Another one of my frequent patronising stall is the Taste hard to forget Hokkien Lor Mee Stall one floor up. A $2.00 bowl of Lor Mee is filled with all sorts of ingredients which till date, I am not too sure if I am eating chicken or pork. But anywhere it's tasty but quite a lot of MSG so you be goggling down water pretty soon after eating. =P But i love the crispy stuff inside the bowl of lor mee and their soup which is not too thick and not too watery... JUST nice. UUUUUUUUUUmmmmmmm......Yummy!! Most importantly, one is being served by a friendly couple who never fails to cook and serve each bowl of lor mee with that great big signature smile and tinkle in their eyes.
