Muse in Greek mythology, refers to the goddess of artistic inspiration; any of the nine nymphs or inferior divinities who supervised and inspired the fine and liberal arts, including history, poetry, comedy, music, dancing, rhetoric, sacred hymns, and harmony...so Bubbles cheoh Moi to find the Singapore Muse....

And inside the National Museum of Singapore, we found the Muse... It was not as happening as I had thought of. though it attracts a more mature and higher spending power crowd. The bar seems to be a little short-handed yesterday night with only 3 servers in sight... Moi was wearing a whole black dress which resembled closely to the servers' uniform and Twinny was teasing me that I should not get up, risk someone stopped me to order. GRRRRRRRR!!! Anyway, the company is always great with sharing of our thoughts, ideas, secrets, life, over...

Muse Martini $16 + Chocolate Martini $16 + Boomerang $16
Muse Martini tasted like Apple Martini. And other than a chocolate stick, the chocolate martini tasted just like rum neat. Boomerang was twinny's choice which is a cocktail of alcohol with passion fruits. The finger food were not too bad. Both dishes were rather yummy yummy. But the price was not finger food price but costs like a main course price. That steep!! Their finger food - lobster tapas costs $22. But good thing is there is no service and GST charge.

Soft scrambled egg with avruga caviar on toast $16 + Crispy chicken with wasabi sauce $12
Well, finger food won't be able to fill Moi's stomach so we adjourned to the Giraffe for dinner. On the way, we spotted 2 Lamborghini and also a Tuscani flashing my lucky number. (^_-) What beauties!!

2 Lamborghini Murciélago Roadster
Nothing much fanciful about the food and drinks at Giraffe Restaurant and Bar, but rather it's unique architecture which makes the whole ambience rather chic and modern. The 2 storey building with full length glass and semi-african cum zen design make it really a comfy place for gathering as each table is tuck away for privacy. It was rather full so we had to sit outdoor and there was a lot of mosquitoes. *SULK* But the nice waiter actually brought us a standing fan to keep us cool and keep the mosquitoes away. Great service... BUT the service is very slow... so if you do not have much leisure time... it's not a dinning place to eat.
