It's a rare occasion that the family came together for dinner other than the reunion dinner... as we started stepping into the working world and as my sisters started their families, there is really hardly a chance to eat together... especially since the population had got so BIG that our humble dinner table at home can no long accommodates everyone lor. Yesterday in my afternoon till evening nap (SUCH A RARE TREAT), Moi was woken up by twinny who wanted to cheoh family out for dinner together. Coincidentally, Mom and dad could make it too and so the whole family including twinny and her dearie went out for dinner at this rather "new" Cze Char coffeeshop at BLK 515, Bedok North Ave 2.
Well, we haven't heard any ravings reviews but it seems the coffeeshop got a rather good crowd turn-out every night... NOT 100% FULL and overflowing like Jin Long but nearly a 90% full. We ordered...
Crispy on the outside and soft inside... quite a delight. Best taken once served. My favourite was the wolfberry dish which is the same vegetable in Mummy secret's recipe soup - good for eyes that I didn't know the name previously. Bub, please take note. =) It's Wolfberry!! The taste was simple but nice... not oily and just sedap. 
This dish was quite a disappointment..not yucky... but the pork ribs were too "fat" and so it lost the juicy pork ribs meat taste.. if you know what Moi means.
The tofu is smooth and tender so this dish was not too bad also.
This is an additional request by twinny... quite nice too but not crispy enough.
