This was a special treat from ABC and DEF. Thanks Dears. And so we finally squeeze in time to go down to Altivo Bar, Jewel box for a 4-course dinner, free cable car ride and starry night fairyland performance for two. Me and him got there pretty early to enjoy the scenic view around Mount Faber overlooking nice greens, the sea and our teeny weeny island, Sentosa...
Well, Moi had heard mix reviews about the Jewel box... the view is definitely nice...ambience of the surrounding is really nice but I can't say the same for the ambience of the bar. =P But nevertheless, it's a rare treat for Moi and I really want to thank ABC and DEF to give us such a romantic night.
We requested to sit near to the edge so as to get a better view of the sea and the sky....
It was FULL house by the time dinner was served... Our 4-course comprised :-

Food was quite badly done and presented... but still edible. Brownie was nice though, they served it hot.
We waited till 8pm to catch the much anticipated Starry Night Fairyland show which was quite a disappointment. The nice waiter even gave us the "best" seats to view the show...i couldn't imagine if we dun see it as nice what would the rest sitting in the not so "good-view" seats. Kekekek! Anywhere...the illumination is very simple and the light up of the christmas tree at the end of the show is nothing awesome too...
The 61-metre tall christmas tree is made up almost entirely of energy-saving LED lights, and is one of the World’s tallest and ‘greenest’ artificial Christmas Trees. Well, not too bad with the music but lights are really simple and 10 mins we were already feeling quite bored with the on and off lightings which lasted for another good 20 mins. =P
Took a 30s stroll at the super-mini Enchanted Garden where you can admire a few medium-size artificial Christmas Trees and let foams get into your eyes, ears, mouth, face and hair and be irritated. Hahahaha!
Thereafter we hopped onto the cable car for Sentosa...
Interesting for the HE who had not been to Sentosa for quite some time and not so for Moi who just came. =P We sat with a family from india that joined in our cable car compartment at harbourfront and had a nice chat with them.... it's their first trip to Singapore and their 7-days trip was just so NOT Enough. A very sweet and nice family and we chatted along. Their presence also took away Moi's jitters for heights and forgetting that I am in the "scary" cable car compartment. Kekeke!
It was a truly wonderful night even though the Jewel Box was less than ordinary. Special thanks to ABC and DEF... cause if not for their kind treat, I would never be able to come up and enjoy the nice view and made time for this dinner. *wink*
