Woke up at 7am today to help flag raising for the NPO that Moi had been volunteering at...
The irony is that Moi is not someone who is for flag raising since part of the donations inevitably goes to defray administrative charges... Moi belongs to those who donated a dollar and asked many questions type. Hahahaha! Well other than helping the needy, of course like all flag raising funds, the one that Moi was helping today too will be using part of the raised donations for such purposes... But the volunteer turn-out was rather bad this time due to the NKF and Meta hoo-haa so I felt I should just do my part and help... If the person who manages the funds do not have a clear conscience, the authorities will punish them... I do not punish and derive those who needed the fund the chance... As long as my intention is clear how I wish or hope the money will be use for...
Went back to my "favourite" spot that Moi always go for flag-raising since school days. Hahahaha! The coordinator was teasing me if I got a HUGE pool of "supporters" over there, that I must "die-die" be there. Hahahha! No lah...!! But it reminded me of school days flag-raising with Blossom. *grin*
"Business" was pretty good today and as a matter of fact, Moi, even ran smacked into quite a few people...one of them being little Minnie Mouse and Micky Mouse. Kekeke! Another was Astro's boss who donated generously and even praised Astro excessively. Kekeke! Went to text Astro after flag-raising to tease him about his boss's praises and the thick-skinned Dude even replied me that I missed out ONE praise.... that is "He is very CUTE."... Walow you, har!! Buay tahan.
I was never a "volunteer" person... the fire was ignited by Blossom and this post will be special dedication to this special friend that meant tonnes to Moi. *wink* Girl, I bet the other powerpuff gang will be so "jealous" of you har... kekeke! Blossom is always passionate about volunteering and helping the needy.. I was just "following" her to kill time and occupy myself with a so-called ECA. hahahaha!!
After graduating, Blossom continued to volunteer very actively with NPO A and B etc. and cheoh me along.. I still recalled joining with the condition of "You join, I join" mentality... Blossom's passion and fire never cease.... One period Moi got really tired and was semi-retiring for a good 2 yrs and only back onto track again last year...
I hope my fire will keep on burning just like Blossom and I can also keep that dedication, sincerity and passion to make a difference....
Thanks Blossom... I will always remember your starfish story.
