Nameless Revisited

I finally put an address to the Nameless shop. Went back tonight again to this little nameless shop for their yakitori. And this time because I think I took much better pictures...I am putting them in bigger size here. Had a yummy time again plus GOOD sake. And if you want to go there, RESERVATION is necessary.

Okra (lady finger)

Tebasaki (grilled chicken wing) + Quail eggs

Butajiru (Pork Miso soup)

Foie gras

Raw Tako (Octopus)

Ginnan (Ginko nuts)

Shishito (Japanese green chilli)

Lei men (cold noodles)

Nori chazuke

I had my hakkaisan Junmai ginjo which is really smooth and dry. A small note when drinking Sake is the more the rice used in brewing is milled before being used, the higher the grade of sake will be. So for e.g. when a person ordered Hakkaisan, there will be many various different grades. Junmai (純米) meaning there is NO alcohol content will be a more premium grade with sub categories within e.g. Junmai ginjo, Junmai Daiginjo and Junmai. An interesting culture in drinking Japanese sake is that it is usually serves in a little glass and the little glass will be contain in another wooden or lacquer box cup, known as masu. A good Japanese restaurant will fill up the glass till overflow into the external box and up to near brim. This is to show the generosity of the owner.
