Nameless

Well, Moi loves naming things but it seems that some people just dun seem to like name anything even the name of their shop. Went to this yakitori shop, 3rd level of Orchard Plaza with no signboard. It was extremely small with only counter seats and was fully booked when I went down for dinner.

In clockwise starting Top left corner : (1) Plate (2) Sauce (3) Marinated Potato balls (4) Chicken gizzards (5) Chicken skin (6) Pork fat (7) Egg with Spinach (8) Quail eggs (9) Ochazuke (10) Cold Noodles (11) Ginko (12) Foie gras (13) Chicken meat (14) Chicken balls (15) Chicken liver

There were only 2 persons working at the shop. The boss who is also the chef, the cashier, purchaser, entertainer all thrown in... The other person is a help who does the cleaning and also serving. The secret to the food being so nice tasty is that the chef uses minimal seasoning only salt and lemon to enhance the taste instead of the usual strong dark sauce that the usual Yakitori shop will have. Though the guests need to wait a little longer than usual due to short-hand-ness. No one was complaining..simply because everyone knows that the secret behind the taste lies in the attentive-ness of the chef in grilling each stick carefully... He was really focus with the grilling with minimal chatting even to the customers. I would say he is not only a chef but also a yakitori craftsman. A craftsman that takes great pride in each stick he grilled. It's simply too delicious. The meat are all nicely grilled and so fresh and juicy that we can taste the real sweetness of the meat. Uuuuummmmmmmmmmm!!! Heavenly!!

So focus...
