Was texting Purple who just had an ops to remove her cyst. It was after the ops did she realise that the cyst wasn't a cyst and it's was actually her twin which was absorbed by her before birth. It's the vanishing twin syndrome (VTS) which means that the other twin is a blighted ovum, one that never developed beyond the very earliest stages of embryogenesis. Sounds cheem? In lame man's term, it means the other twin dies in utero and is completely or partially reabsorbed usually by the mother but in this case, by my friend (her/his sister) instead. Yeeks. Now it does sounds a little eerie.
Me : So you are a twin just like me. ;-)
Purple : Ya ya.. no wonder I am so fascinated about twin. Do you think I shall call the news hotline and maybe they can come and interview me? Hohohoho!
Me : Ya ya ya...I think you should. And I will go cut out that newspaper article and frame it up for you. Bahahahahaha!
That's Purple....the girl who can crack such jokes just the next day after her ops. =P Girl, I am glad that your ops went smoothly and catch up with you again after your rest.
