Wanted to go down to Farmland Porridge tonight but alas it was closed today. =( Disappointed ... so i was wondering what to eat when I saw this Cze Char place opposite the Farmland Porridge which seems to be rather crowded. Since Moi was already there might as well give it a try. =p We orderd their 2 signature dishes : stir fried sweet potato leaves and Prawns with beancurd...

and the sweet porks...

The signature dishes live up their names...the beancurd was really soft and the prawns were super BIG and fresh. We had the stir fried sweet potato leaves with sambal and it was really tasty, not too hot, just nice and definitely not slimy. Yup!! Moi ate badly cooked sweet potato leaves before. =P However the sweet porks dish was not really that great. In fact, the meat was quite tough. Overall bill came up to about S$30 for 3 dishes plus rice...not too expensive but not very cheap either.

Maybe it was rather crowded tonight so service was a little slow and we had to repeat our order for our drinks a few times before we were served. I wont mind going back again but not purposely.
