Mingles

At our usual "contact-time", we went down to Mingles at East Coast. It wasn't very crowded even for a sunday night but decided to try it anywhere. Mingles contain a good variety of choices at reasonable pricing at acceptable tasting that you wont mind coming back again. Mingles specialise in European dishes from German, italian, Russian, etc. We ordered a balance combination.

Calamari fritti $9.90

The Calamari fritti was really crispy and nice. Well, Moi loves sausages so it's a MUST that I must order this next dish. =) The roesti tasted oily but it was still palatable.

Roesti with pork cheese sausage $16/90

SuSe ordered spaghetti alla carbonara which was serve with a raw egg yolk. That's a first time for Moi but I heard that this is the exact way that carbonara is cooked usually.

Well, the next MUST order is the baked alaska. Moi still remember the experience of savouring this russian dessert at Shashlik. We were given a choice for 3 ice creams and we ordered rum and raisin, macadamia nut ice cream pus another flavour that Moi forgot. The appearance was very enticing but taste was very "ice-cream". Nevertheless it was still an enjoyable trip.
