Well, Twinny, her dearie and SuSe are a bunch of Wanton-Gong-Gong. So we came over to heartland mall one early morning in search of delicious wanton mee, and thus the battle of the 2 wantons. At the same Food centre, we discovered 2 long queues belonging to 2 different wanton stalls which are just a few stalls away from each other. Doesn't seem to have much of a conflict since both stalls serve rather different style of wanton mee.
51 Ming Fa Wanton Egg Noodles
The noodles contained eggs so it tasted more springy and fragrant. The wantons were also wrapped with the soft dumpling skin instead of the traditional thicker dumpling skin so Moi find the wantons more delicious. The charred chinese char siew was a little disappointing though, Moi thought there was too much fat and the meat served in chunk, were a little tough.

Yi Shi jia Shu Shi
Their noodles has a good smooth texture and coupled with the thinly sliced char siew tasted really nice too. With $2.50, they gave generous portion of wantons. Moi found the ketchup taste more "common" to appeal.

Verdict : 3 votes : 2 votes (Ming Fa : Yi Shi jia Shu Shi)
It was a closed shave as twinny casted the critical vote for Ming Fa preferring over their noodles. Well, I supposed it's more of a personal preference as to whether you prefer the black sauce type or the ketchup type.
