Had pass by this unique posh-looking cafe in Esplanade and had wanting to go so Moi managed to cheoh Bread Marmas there to celebrate Mummy's day. heehee! And she damn adores our new "chit-chat" corner. Heehee!
Photography is not ALLOWED so this is a secret snapshot. Heehee! Isn't it pretty? LIke some victoria european little classic cafe. Well, the girls will most probably love this place very much. They have a wide selection of teas and desserts and each item is served in an unique tea cup and saucer. Just looking at the utensils and cups is already quite a feast. Service was excellent and all the staff seems to know very clearly all the items and can recommend something suitable for you. We had the cookies since there are famous for baking cookies without EGG and MILK!! Can you imagine?? MILKLESS, EGGLESS cookie so it's very palatable nearly for everyone. The staff were also very patient letting us taste all the different flavours... hahaha! But it just too many flavours and each one tasted so differently, Moi got difficulty remembering. They even have localised tastes like nasi lemak, hae bee hiam and ikan billis. We were spoilt with choices. Heehee! But each tin of cookie doesn't come cheap. Price ranges from $28 - $32 per tin. Well, sweet Bread Parpas got Moi's Mummy one tin... Moi chose the Cran Mango flavour.
The place really plays on its ambience and service and of course it's super unique cookie that are really light tasting, soft and very brittle. The cookies practically just break inside your mouth with every bite, very fresh. Though Moi will prefer a harder texture cookie. =P The butter and ingredient tastes were really distinct from the cookies, and you would definitely not be getting a huge chuck of butter and cream taste in your mouth.
