Bell recommended this vegetarian eatery that is really nice at Joo Chiat Place.... of course, it's double nicey that Auntie Wonderland is there. *wink* ANYWHERE, Ping, we are going to send you the BILL for your MIA that day. =P The food was simply marvellous. The dishes were not too oily and the eatery used vegetable more instead of those vegetarian mock stuff that were usually served. All of us enjoyed so much!!! Ambience was nice and service was simply wonderful. A good place for family gatherings.
This is such a simple dish but the tofu is so crispy..... really mouth-watering. Though the golden mushrooms is the most oily dish, it's still very very yummy. Cant stop eating.
Was reminiscing about our childhood days and Moi and Twinny couldn't help stop laughing at HOW Ah Gong we were when we were kids. Hahahaha! For our 6 years in primary school, I would have my kway teow soup and Twinny would have her bee hoon soup every recess without fail. After eating during recess, despite being in the same school, Moi and Twinny would not stay behind to chit-chat. We were obediently went to line up in our positions to wait for the recess bell to go off and march back to class. Amazing, right? hahahahaha! Then during secondary school, for the 4 years, be it recess or lunch, we would have chicken lor mee without fail.... ocassionally treating ourselves with a fried fishball or fried wanton. Hahahahha! How uncreative and robotic we were. And the most amazing part is that we were such "loners" that we dun take lunch or recess with anyone. Not even for me with twin or twin with me. We had such a good laugh and even now I couldn't really figure out the reason for our peculiar behaviour. kekekeke!
