Bedok : Porridge

This is one of the stalls that Mom and Moi likes to visit when we crave for a late night dinner or supper... their porridge is so smooth and watery...just melts in your mouth. It's simply delicious. Each bowl is cook individually thus reserving the nice pipping hot taste. Yummy!! Love these porridge!! The stall opens till late and offers a wide variety of choices like fish slice, lean pork, pork balls, beef, chicken, peanuts, century eggs, etc. etc. They also serve the plain white rice version and the brown rice version.

"艇仔粥" actually originates from Guang dong instead of Hongkong. It was known such as it originates from the boat people who sold it on their boats. "艇仔粥" is so popular because the porridge is cook until very smooth, nearly grain-less and very very fragrant. It's a very different type of porridge from the famous one at BLK 85 Fengshan Market & Food Centre but nevertheless very delicious. Even Twinny and her dearie gave the thumbs up. *wink*
