Luge

Went to try on my first ride on the Luge!! IT WAS FUN!! hahahaha!! A Luge is a one- or two-person sled for coasting or racing down a chute. Was a little hesitant to ride on the skyride initially to reach uphill to slide down the Luge and was thinking very much to go directly instead to the station... but cheeze....got Twinny, her dearie and Cheetah cajoled me onz so Moi boh pian closed my eyes throughout and got on the skyride. AND not ONCE but TWICE. Kekekeke! The luge wasn't too difficult to maneuver but still do heed Twinny's advice to make your way down during the morning sessions so as not to get yourself into the Luge JAM.

Sentosa Luge and Skyride

After our rides, Twinny, her dearie and Cheetah cycled down to the Palawan Beach while Moi had to take the tram to the beach. =( Ooooooooh!! And we met GEN, the iguana. To be honest, GEN does look quite a bit disgusting with his scaly and slimy body. BUT it was also interesting to learn a few real facts about him.

Contrary to popular belief, an iguana does not change color according to the environment it is in and it does not change itself into all sorts of color also. Generally speaking, an iguana changes color when it's too cold, too stress or too excited. The color change begins on the head, upper body, tail, legs, spreading around the torso to the belly. And it usually changes to orange or gray color.

Like most reptiles, they are also cold-blooded, which means they do not produce their own body heat. In other words, if the surrounding is cold, the iguana is cold too. That is why GEN was named after the generator where he was found sitting on to keep himself warm. Another interesting fact is that iguana is omnivorous and eats more vegetable than meat. They also shed their skin seasonally and when in danger, can break off their tail to escape.
