The Palm Beach Seafood Restaurant is a good alternative to good seafood other than going down to East Coast. Went there the other day and tried their SET menu which is about S$298+++ (can't really recall the price). The portion and variety was ok but the quantity become so much smaller for 6 pax. The fried rice was even an addition. For those who are thinking to try their set menu, would suggest you to add one more dish.
I would say the Palm Beach Seafood will be a very choice to have seafood. There is a good variety, the seafood is fresh and price is still reasonable. One downside about this place is the service. It's extremely slow and waiters and waitresses seem to keep forgetting your requests. This you will really need to be super super patient with that.
So our set menu consists of :-

Appetitizer
This appetizer really goes well with their sambal chilli. It's a type of fried fish. Too bad, I dunno the name of this dish but it serves at each table in lieu of the usual peanuts and it's really tasty.

Seafood Deluxe Combination

Sweet and Sour Grouper

Cooped Lobster Superior
Special mention to the Cooped Lobster Superior, the soup was really nice and thick and the lobster really fresh and sweet. The Crab was a little too "small' for 6 pax but the Black Pepper taste was really shiok. It kept the whole table so quiet just licking and sucking the crab. hahahaha!

Black Pepper Sri Lanka Crab

Fried rice

Dessert : Pomelo Sago
