Decided to do something different for my Dearest this year. Moi conspired with Twinny to get up really early this morning, to prepare Bombay Toast for our Dearest. Brought back warm memories when the four of us made for her last time and how she got all teary and touched by the four little us and how the four gong-gong tried to cook, argue and fight in low low voices in the kitchen. Heehee! KIDS!!
The beauty of internet is that I dun have to go get a recipe book to recall how to prepare bombay toast (erm....for those in my generation, this is the first recipe we were taught during our home economics class). Kekeke!
Bombay Toast
Ingredients
5 slices of bread
1 cup of milk
1 egg
2 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp butter
1. Beat egg, milk and sugar to a batter.
2. Heat a pan and spread a little butter.
3. Dip a slice of bread in the batter and fry till golden brown turning it once on either side.
Da..Dum...Dum... here's our Luff Luff Luff Toast... ^_-)
Well the taste wasn't that great but we knew her heart was warm. Plus sweet cakes from Jims Deli Pastry brought back specially by Twinny. =)
And another one cake from Savoury Fare for the dearest's other half.
Happy happy Birthday, Daddy & Mummy!!
