KL Trippy with the Powerpuff Gals

On the 15th Dec (Fri) 2006, went on the very first ever overseas Trippy with the Powerpuff girls gang and Twinny!! We are going to KL!!! So here's updates of our trippy.

Day 1 - 15th Dec 2006

We departed for KL at around 8am in the morning. It was quite a long ride in the bus but was able to watch Jay's MTV "千里香" and Jolin's concert so it wasn't that bad and of course i was busy chatting with Blossoms. Hmm..but kena complained by Twinny, Buttercup and Bubbles for being too "talkative". =P Meet friends must talk what or else BIG eyes see SMALL eyes meh. As all of us started our own career, families, etc, we have less time to be together so every opportunity to be with the powerpuff gang meant a lot to me and so I really want to make an effort to talk to everyone more.

First check in hotel... Twinny booked Le Meridien for us. It was very new and the service and rooms were really nice!! Thanks Twinny!! heehee! Look who came along???

Little Pom Pom

Unfortunately we couldn't get adjoining rooms and so our rooms are right across each other... nahhh!! SO I couldn't "torture" Bubbles and made her stay up the whole night. *SUCKS* We had a quick half an hour freshen up and was off for our first target.. this was inevitable a "shopping" trip and so we should made full use of all the time for SHOPPING. So our first target is "MID VALLEY MEGAMALL".

Off..we go...Twinny all gear up!!

Le Meridien is located just beside KL Sentral so we hop onto the KTMKOMUTER to go to MidValley Station which is only 1 stop away.

Ticket Ticket...

BUT before that let's fill up our stomachs. Went to MidValley MegaMall's Foodcourt to makan first. We ordered carrot cake, rojak, curry Laksa, Fried Kway Teow and one more Penang Laksa (this one is out of the picture). The food was not too bad, less the carrot cake which was less than delicious.

Our tea time @ FoodCourt. ;-P

Next, we went to Chinatown or Chee Chiong Kai in Cantonese for our second part of shopping. It was like a BIG Pasar Malam lah. The stalls were set very closely to one another so we basically had to "wade" ourselves in one line... We didn't buy much as it was too HOT and too crowded. I think if we stayed longer, Bubbles might faint. =P We need to really bargain at each stall before buying and me and twinny aren't good at this. Fortunately we had Blossoms with us who did a great job in hassling the price for us. Way to go!! Blossoms!! v(^_^)v Had a little bit of unhappiness and hicupps at one of the stalls though, when me, Blossoms and Buttercup were trying to hassle over 3 pairs of sport shoes. But it's a good lesson learnt... how cunning the stall owners could be har!! X-P BAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! WON'T PATRON that shop AGAIN!!

After buying so many things.... in all ....

Not too impressive..... for 5 ladies..=P

It's time for dinner. Decided to go for the food stall along Chee Chiong Kai with the MOST crowd. We had fried kakong, fried rice, horfun, crispy chicken and tofu. Total we only paid RM63.00 including drinks. (approx SG$28.00) Really money worth!! Nice yummy food to fill up 5 hungry ladies at such attractive price. SO it's a good choice after all d($o$)b

Our RM63 dinner @ Chee Chiong Kai

Proceeded back to the hotel and took shower and had a little chat...not much though cos the Powerpuff gals needed to reserve their batteries for tomorrow power-pack shopping.

Twinny??

That's Sleepy!! Oopss..nope! Bubbles!!

Day 2 - 16th Dec 2006

We woke up earlier and took monorail this time to Bukit Bintang station where all the SHOPS conjugate. Gee...Aren't we shopaholics? Nahhhhhhh!! We just want to make our shopping trippy more worthwhile lah. Guess what we saw once we alighted at Bukit Bintang Station? Twinny went screaming "CYMA no tokei no hito"

Twinny's heartthrob across the street... ;-P

But first, we started with our slow and nice coffee cum brunch at DOME at Lot10.

Dome's Coffee and Drinks

For brunch, Blossoms ordered spaghetti, Me and Bubbles ordered the signature chicken pie, Buttercup and Twinny ordered fishes. I forgot to take snapshots of our bruches... SULK... =(

Had a good one hour or more shopping inside Lot10, before we trolled opposite to Sungei Wang Plaza for more shopping goods. Price is rather competitive to Singapore so it's not a very shiok kind of shopping experience except for certain brands like East India Company (Not The British East India Company) and Elle which is more money worth lah. Got quite a few shirts from East India for myself. *Grin* Also got a few tops for Mummy dearest too. So on the whole quite fun. At this stage, actually all of us were a little pumchek already. Age must be getting on us... =P Had inititally planned to go back to Chee Chiong Kai to eat some more goody local food and also to do some more shopping but decided to make Berjaya Times Square our last stop. Me and Twinny didn't shop much cos' too tired liao. We perked up when we SAW SALE at MNG so me and Twinny got energised again lor. Kekekeke! Had quite a good buy as the sales was going down to as low as more than 50%.

Me and Twinny spotted this very CUTE shop - PINK PANTHER too at Berjaya Time Square. We couldn't resist to try out the sooooooooooooooo CUTE Pink Panther Tee... Er...but I looked so FAT. *SULK* =( In the end, only Twinny bought a Elmos, cookie monster Tee. After that, went for coffee with Twinny for a good half an hour because both of our legs were really shack so we had better give them a break before they break lor. =P

Da-dum, da-dum, da-dum-de-dum-de-dum, da-dum-de-daaaaa....de-dum...

Since we were not going to Chee Chiong Kai so we settled dinner at Kenny Rogers inside Berjaya Time Square to replenish "fuel" before we proceed to Imbi station to take the monorail back to our hotel for a good rest and packing of our bags.

While Bubbles tried "means and ways" to prevent ME from entering their cosy haven. I still barged in and kacua the gals. Kekeke! I am so EVIL. I must really crown Bubbles for being able to sleep despite US making so much noise. =P The powerpuff gals are really my precious group of friends who had grown practically with me especially Blossoms so I really cherish the times we had each time and it was nice always to exchange news about one another and to keep each other posted of our progress and lives.. Er..SAVE NO Updates with regards to Bubbles (who is busy zzzzzzzzz...) and Buttercup yet. Will press them for more updates next time lah. Kekekeke!

And here's ME and Twinny's catch for today. ME too shack to get the rest of the stuffs bought by the powerpuff gals over to take a snapshot.. I think these are enuff, right? ;-)

More Stuffs....

Day 3 - 17th Dec 2006

The last day was more of a rest and relax since there wont be any shopping for today. Got up early in the morning and went tabao Mac Breakfasts for all with Bubbles (Our early bird). After finished breakfast, we still had quite a bit of time so I wanted to jio the rest of them to take a good look around the hotel BUT alas... Bubbles and Buttercup were such couch potatoes, got their BUTT kena stuck on the bed. But still i managed to get the always obliging Blossoms to come with me. Had a good look at their beautiful roof top garden and swimming pool. Should had come down for drinks the night before at the roof-top terrace, would be such an experience. *SHRUG*

Paradise...Beautiful, isn't it?

Christmas Tree

While waiting to take our bus, we were playing around with Kanon to take more shots of our trippy... Sorry not posting the photos here cos' MOI put on too much weight during this trippy and I looked so FAT in all the photos!! BAHHHHHHH!!! No photos for you all. X-P

Selamat tinggal Kuala Lumpur. It sure was a lovely trip with lovely companies. Love the powerpuff gals and Twinny to bits. MUACK!!! Thanks Gals for everything.
