Ye Lai Xiang has been around since 1939 and supposedly sell delicious Cheng Tng and Dried Squid. Once it's opened, you can see customers of all races (including Malay) savouring a bowl of either the hot or cold Cheng Tng. Other than being generous with their ingredients, another unique feature of their cold Cheng Tng is use of ice tiny balls instead of crushed ice so you won't feel you are eating chunks of ice instead of the real thing. It serves really nice dessert and I believe Mummy, dearest would love their Cheng Tng.
