When I said I wanted to become a librarian 5 years back, no one took me seriously.
When I took the library course, many thought it was a waste of time and money.
When I completed the course and postponed looking for a job as a librarian, many thought I had given up and thought I wasnt serious.
But I had never given it up, I have never give it up when no one took me seriously.
I have never give up when others thought I am wasting time and money.
I have never given up when others delayed me from my goal.
My heart remains focus and truth to that only goal.
Perseverence.
I finally GOT it!! A Dream came true. =)

I Feel Love
I can feel it, shining down
It lights up the day, like the morning sun
Reaching out and touching everyone
I feel Love all day long
Like a promise, like the song
And it's feeling good, like I knew it would
Everywhere I go, I feel Love
I feel Love, yes I do
I can feel it, so can you
It's a rainbow washing rainy sky away
bringing back another sunny day
I feel Love everywhere
It like magic in the air
Yes, indeed loving you, loving everyone
Everywhere I go, I feel Love
Love, Love, Love's the answer, Love's the only way
Sunshine can come and go and I'll feel gray
I feel Love all day long
Like a promise, like the song
And it's feeling good, like I knew it would
Everywhere I go, shining down on me
All around me, I feel Love

悄悄的你走了,正如你悄悄的来;

Sunset Grill and Pub
Had long heard about this secluded place from A-De and had wanted to try her highly recommended super spicy buffalo wings. Well it's really unbelievable to be able to find such a secluded restaurant (FULL OF GUESTS) in this super extremely ulu part of Singapore.
Despite detailed directions from the internet, we still got lost for quite a while trying to get to this secluded place. Moi fell in love with this place immediately for the simplicity, for the laid back environment, the lovely sunset and awesome feeling of seeing the planes up close and personal.
Oh...there is a beef and chicken version. The mini burgers are really yummy yummy. We like this dish so much. Though the waitress made a mistake and we needed to wait quite a while. The combo set was a little disappointed though, the baby ribs and the chicken thighs were rather dry.
Well, the chili for the buffalo wings was really SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Shiok!!! Moi's lips were on flames but I still LOVE them so much. The spiciness can actually be determined from a scale of 1-10. For starters, they recommended Level 3 spicy. The mini mushrooms were rather refreshing too.
And will I come back again?? Definitely!!
oopss.. and a little advice to drivers. Drive carefully cause this place is so super ulu and badly lilted. We saw a car got one of its wheels inside the big drain at the side.

Black Noodles
This is my MIL's "take hand good food" - black sauce hokkien mee. Really slurpy yummy. The noodles are simmered in a giant claypot with all the ingredients and special cooked sauce. A big pot for trio. * burp *
Back to School
Didnt know this place exists, if not that we wanted to catch the local movie,18 grams of love @ Sinema.
It brings such nostalgic feelings of school days. Really nice place....
And so how much does love weigh? 10 grams for the envelope and 8 grams for the letter. In this new age times, when email, sms, mobile phones gave instant communication, these 18 grams serve more sincerity and meaning as a tool of communication. Really admire Director Han Yew Kwang talents to put forth such a meaningful movie and rather sad that this movie did not make it to the BIG screen because of budget issue. It's a thinking movie, a movie that one can relate to, a movie that send you home thinking about the importance of communication between husband and wife. And the need to constantly remind each other and to think back the very first reason when you fell in love and wants to marry with your better half. A wonderful movie.
Well, there is timber @ old school and a quieter restaurant, Chalk located nearby. We decided to try CHALK..... (not CHAIR, Uncle) ^_-) The food was just DAT..nothing special but ambience was nice.
Pizza was rather pleasing as it was served on thin bread. Moi quite like it especially the chicken sausages pizza (pic not included).
Spaghetti was too dry for Moi's liking.

Facing it
It's always easier to let it go and run away from responsibilities. I know you cant comprehend what I am going through but I choose to face it and take the responsibilities. It's ME, it's just ME. I dun seek your understanding cause it's my choice.
I hope you understand it's not my choice but his... AND I am just doing the bare minimum as someone who loves him, to give him the best comfort and to walk with him till the end....
It's my choice to walk with him and his choice to live....

Talking to a Moroon
Had been very shoved by work that I had hardly seen daylight for the past 1 month... and finally when I thought I could have a breather, there are still loose ends to be tie. My feeling... SULK and I cant wait for everything to be OVER, O-V-E-R!! I am quitting.
And today shoved under pressure of working in 3 places and work planning I got really irritated by this cowardice and super-dum-dum MOROON who is a pain-in-neck.
Extract of Conversation with Mr Moroon
Moroon : My records is different from your records. Please show me evidence to agree.
Moi (to self) : If you disagree, just tick "disagree". Why so LORSO??
Moi : Should you disagree, please tick the "disagree" box.
Moroon : We can not tick "disagree" without any evidence.
Moi (Irritated by Moroon) : Since you do not have evidence to "agree", i believe you will have to disagree but if you need evidence to "disagree", I apologies that I cannot help you.
Moroon : Please advise us of the reason why you can not confirm for reason for "disagree".
IRATED!!
SUCH AN IDIOT!!
MOROON IGNORE!!! X-(

Being True to Myself
Started posting out a few resumes over last weekend. Crossing my fingers and waiting impatiently for the determining phone call for my first step. This next job is not going to be any other job, it's not going to be just a job. It's going to be job that I can be true to myself. A job that I know will fulfill and complete me.
To follow one's heart seem such a simple thing yet it's so difficult. It requires one to have the discipline to listen and the courage to follow. We need to quiet other voices surrounding us, voices that disturb us to listen to our inner voices. When I was a kid, I wanted to take up art @ Lasalle but ended up listening to voices from family and teacher that being an artist will give me no future. When I entered university, I choose again to follow other voices and took mathematics and forsake Japanese language as my main module. I first felt really true to myself when I follow my heart and inner voice and went to Japan for a 2 months study stint. It was something I really wanted to do to prove to myself that I could be independent and not a protected kid. That journey changed my life completely. It was one of my major crossroads and I was glad that I took that path. But to be able to constantly follow my heart wasn't easy. I was more too often distracted by the different voices echoing around me. I joined my present workplace a good 10 yrs and 1 month ago. I learnt and experienced tremendously over these 10 over years. It was fulfilling, I liked my job but then it didn't complete ME. Deep underneath, it knew this wasn't what I really wanted. It felt more like a chore day-in-day-out. I just did the job for an income, for him. And so though I wasn't unhappy, I was empty.
So i wandered till I had a chat with ABC and DEF over coffee club @ taka and I finally heard my calling. My calling to become a Librarian. I know it was something that I wanted to do. I felt really energerised talking to them that afternoon. I started looking and surfing the net to discover what takes to become one. I searched for the different qualifications required and started to work myself towards it. It wasn't an easy task and I met with a lot of resistance voices as to why would anyone want to become a Librarian. I became a little doubtful and did a little bit more research and even took up a volunteer stint with the library to find out more for myself. I had earlier intended to take up a library qualification in Wales or Australia and needed to raise a good $30,000 - $50,000 for school fees and at least a semester's living expenses cum lodging. I had a hard time to force-save $1000 a month with my limited income and my expenses commitment. I took up 3 jobs at that time on top of my current job. I worked 4 times a day in the evening and once on a Saturday to give tuition; I helped to train speech with 2 kids on Sunday and I lobbied applicants for credit cards to get commission. I was very tired but it was a good tired everyday even if it means I did not have any thing and time except for work and more work. To motivate myself, I spent every possible free time at IDP and British Council to find out more about the courses and the place.
By twist of fate, I decided to pursue the course in Singapore instead and I love and enjoy my study so much despite before called insane by one of the lecturers during the first day of school when he discovered that I am planning to do the course full-time and working full-time. He told me I would never be able to make it. It might be puzzling to some of my readers how I could take a course full-time and work full-time. I went to school in day and rushed back to office to complete my work at the same time. It means a lot of sacrifice. I took 5 modules in my first semester and was struggling with work, assignments, tests, presentations, readings and exams. Many a night went un-slept. I was practically awake most of the time. Some days, I came to office at 4am and rushed for class starting at 8am, went through lessons till 2-3pm, rushed back to office to continue work. After work, I still needed to go back to school again to complete assignments, sometimes into the wee hours in the morning. I was only able to come home to brush my teeth, wash up and go back to work and school. The routine just went on and on but I survived and I am proud to say I made it.
I was glad I never refrain from listening to my inner self, remains true to myself in this path I have chosen. The feeling within me as I come to this moment is indescribable. Being true to ourselves involve hearing the one voice that call us.
Listen to your heart and follow it.
